Branch of Service or Civilian: USMC - July 1967 - April 1970

Unit Served in Viet Nam, If Any: N/A

I recently saw the story about Chaplain Stubbe on my phone.  I'm hoping Chaplain Stubbe monitors these emails because I just want to say hello to him.  Chaplain Stubbe, I met you when you reported to the Religious Center at Parris Island in late 69 or early 70.  I'm not sure.  I was a clerk at the Religious Center and I remember you very well.  I thought highly of you.  I'm sorry for what you and the Marines at Khe Sanh had to endure.  Thanks to you and all the Marines for your service.  Best wishes.

I'd want to report that Edward Michael Feldman, LT, USNR passed away on October 3, 2017. Ed served as a Navy Surgeon with the USMC at Khe Sanh. His final PCS assignment will be at the Miramar National Cemetery, 5795 Nobel Drive, San Diego. Services will be on October 17, 2017 at 12:30.

Ed and I went to and graduated college together. He then went to med school, the US Navy and Viet Nam. I went into the USAF and Korea.

Ed has always been a very good man. What he did in Viet Nam didn't really surprise me. He was a natural leader and always thought of others first and what he could do for them. We are going to miss him.
