Comments:
I was on Khe Sanh as a radio relay operator.  I was not on the combat base.  I was TDY with one other Marine from our unit.  I was deployed until Sep 1967 when I was rotated back to 5th Mar Regt CP to rotate back to the states.  I never knew what hill I was on or what unit I was with.  I had always been deployed to companies of 1/5 until this time.  I can send a picture of my team member, me and a grunt from the Marine infantry unit (he was related to Richard Specht, the killer of the 6 nurses in Chicago, ,IL in the mid 60's).  We had been bothered by one or more snipers during my tour on the hill.
